Monster Monday Feature: Enchantresses 3 01.10.2011
I have been seriously neglecting my blog, guys. I'm sorry for my MIA-ness over the last couple months, BUT it's back to reality now and one of my goals for the New Year is to post a lot more DIY projects and other ideas here on Billie Monster. *excited* I also want to do more features - since there's so many talented folks out there! If you haven't noticed, today is Monster Monday Feature and so without further ado I give you Enchantresses 3.

The enchantresses are three sisters who grew up together in the Land of Enchantment (not sure where that is but it sounds fun!), but now live miles apart. They come together on their blog by turning ordinary things into extraordinary things, AND they're dang good at it! Just feast your eyes on a few of my favorite projects:
What happens when you need a place to put your TV but all you have is an ugly 70's dresser?
An amazing china cabinet makeover. I never find stuff like this on Craigslist. Hrmphf!
How brave do you have to be to tackle this cabinet re-do? Such a difference!
The enchantresses have many other projects on their blog but personally I LOVE a good furniture re-do. I'm definitely enchanted by this retro stereo cabinet turned entry table.
If you want to be featured here on Billie Monster send me your projects. I'd love to see them!

What people are saying...
Hey very happy to hear your getting back on track... Wow those 3 sisters sure are talented.... Your choice of features is exceptional BJ ..... Keep up the good work. :-)
All of this gorgeous furniture is making me jealous. I am such a craigslist amateur! I have been looking for the perfect dresser to turn into a TV stand and haven't found anything I like. Nothing near as gorgeous as the one in this post!!
Wow, their before and afters are fabulous! Thanks for helping me find even more inspirational blogs. I can now add the enchantresses 3 to my ever-growing list. About Craigslist, I think the U.S. has far better Craigslist finds. In my experience, Kijiji is the better of the two when it comes to local furniture finds in Canada.
I heart before and afters! what state are you in? The Midwest is known for being a pretty inexpensive place to live... also I trick I use in thrifting is to avoid mainstream thrift stores like goodwill and salvation army. I go to mom and pop thrift stores mostly because they are almost always cheaper.
Oh my glory! You are so sweet! Thanks so much for the amazing feature! I too have been taking a break from blogging, need to get back on the wagon!:) Feel so honored! Thanks again! Oh, the land of enchantment is New Mexico:)
These are awesome furniture re-dos, wow! Thanks for finding them! :)
Wow! Those furniture pieces look great! So glad you stopped by Friendly Friday. Hope you have a wonderful weekend! :)

That china cabinet is to die for, it looks beautiful! I need to tackle my kitchen too, but I'm afraid to ruin it, yikes!
I LOVE the before and after photos! Now I want to re-do something! he he! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! I am following you! :)
Hey Billie...thrilled to see you joined in on Friday's Blog Hop. I am returning the follow. I have to tell you...your remakes are fabulous. I tend to get carried away in doing the very same thing. My downfall is I forget to take a before picture which is a bummer as my daughter's bedroom furniture has been redone over and over. Her bureau has got to be 40 some odd yrs old, and has been redone 4 times now, and she's only 13. The bureau in your first pic looks so much like my bureau which is 27 yrs old and I have been wondering for quite a few yrs now what it would look like green. This would mean I would have to paint all 4 pcs though..and I don't know if I have the energy only to find I may not like what I've done. I found my answer in your post...and I love it.! I can't decide if I want to repaint my kitchen cabinets or redo my kitchen so I am holding off for the moment. Seems like I am never satisfied! I will be by to visit often to see what you're up to next :-).
Wow, those are just so enchanting, I love them all. Such talented sisters.
What an inspiration! Love the pics! Maybe someday I will tackle a project! Thanks for following me from Friendly Friday, following you back!
My husband bought me an antique dresser for my birthday that I will be refinishing once it is warmer out. If you're still taking photos at that time I will send them to you. The above projects turned out beautifully!
thanks for following! I am following back! LOVE your blog!
